The Alakol area is unique as it is the only prospective oil basin strategically located in east Kazakhstan with access to the Kazakhstan to China 400,000 bopd by 2009 pipeline with immediate access to rail and road infrastructure.
Company Structure
Eastern Petroleum Corporation Limited owns 100% of North Caspian Petroleum Limited. North Caspian Petroleum Limited is a UK registered Company and owns 50% of the Alakol Licence and, through it's branch in Kazakhstan, is the operator of a joint venture partnership with Remas LLP. Remas LLP, a private Kazakh company, owns the remaining 50% of the licence.
